The Spanish program is designed to develop practical communication skills and cross-cultural understanding. Richland College offers students small classes, flexible scheduling, state-of-the-art computer assisted instructional materials, a modern Sony language lab using video and audio tapes, cable TV transmission and satellite links, free tutoring and study abroad opportunities in Mexico and Spain.
Some of the beginning and intermediate courses are offered in an eight-week or ten-week format, and as four or five week summer courses and in an online format.
